Five Mile Chase
Your Town
Brian Miller's duo with fiery fiddler Django Amerson was a long time staple of the Midwestern scene. Irish traditional music with deep roots and branches all over the place. From straight ahead driving jig medleys to bossa nova hornpipes, from reels that swing to Tom Waits songs with an accordion, influences from Kentucky to Bulgaria.

Gan Bua
Live at Martyr's
Some of the best Irish musicians (including Brian Miller) from all around the Midwest came together to form this band. Irish Music Magazine writes: "Gan Bua is the essence of a superb band, collaborative in nature, and able to build upon the best qualities of other's playing, and unselfish in sharing the leads. In many ways it is a throwback to the playing of the 1960's and 1970's, keeping the music down the path of tradition.

The Maenads
This album is an inventive and refreshing melding of Celtic, Medieval, Renaissance and Irish sounds and repertoire. The combination of Rebecca Blair's Celtic harp, Linda Bull's fiddle and Norah Rendell's voice, whistle and recorder produces a brilliant soulful sound unlike any other. If your musical fancy meanders in the direction of early music, you will love this album.
